Catering Deposit- To secure the services of Canopy Rose Culinary Arts Studio and Catering Company for a wedding, banquet, holiday party or other large event, we require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit to hold the date. The deposit is applied to the Special Event Pre-Orchestration Fee.
After the menu and services are agreed upon, a fifty percent deposit is due, with the final balance due in full at least 14 days prior to the event.

Monday, October 6, 2008...We say Bon Voyage to the folks at home and board our international flight to Rome, Italy. Our stresses slip away as our air carrier ascends above the clouds and begins our transport into a dreamy week in a distant land.

Tuesday, October 7, 2008...We arrive in Rome and are soon whisked away by our own private motor coach. We'll enjoy a special enroute picnic lunch created just for us, during a leisurely drive through the seaside towns of the Maremma region with their spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast. In the early evening we arrive at our Tuscan villa near Sienna. A delightful Tuscan dinner welcomes us.
Wednesday, October 8, 2008... Today we enjoy a fabulous day with our local guide who will take us to picturesque villages seldom seen by tourists. We will learn about Tuscany's ancient Etruscan culture, visit an organic farm, watch a demonstration of cheese making and learn about the process involved in curing prosciutto. We will take part in our first cooking class. During lunch we will enjoy the fruits of our labor.

In the late afternoon we will make a short stop in the lovely village of Montepulciano before returning to our villa for the night. Tonight we can venture out on our own for dinner.
Thursday, October 9, 2oo8... We get an early start this morning for lovely Cortona- famous for its dramatic Tuscan and Umbrian views and its role in Frances Mayes book, Under The Tuscan Sun. It is considered one of the classic Tuscan hill towns. After lunch we continue on to the Umbrian town of Assisi- home of St. Francis, with beautifully preserved architecture. We return to our villa for dinner together.
Friday, October 10, 2008... Our day is spent discovering one of the jewels of Tuscany- Siena. Its historic center offers Italy's best medieval city experience.
A morning tour of the highlights of Siena is followed by an afternoon of leisure; succumbing to the charms of this medieval gem and its winding red-brick narrow lanes. Tonight dinner is on our own at the villa or in a nearby town.
Saturday, October 11, 2008...Our full day tour of the Chianti i region brings us through landscapes of gentle rolling hills covered in cypress trees, vines and olive groves. Delightful vistas meet us at every turn, where quaint, stony villages exist with an unhurried pace of life. We stop at a local winery for a tour and wine tasting before continuing to our villa for an evening cooking lesson. Tuscan cuisine is highly seasonal, so recipes may vary according to the availability of fresh ingredients. Tonight we enjoy our Tuscan creations.
Sunday, October 12, 2008... This morning we leave our villa behind and drive to Florence where we have the option of attending a church service and enjoying fellowship with congregation members over a typical Florentine lunch. Later our local guide meets us for a private tour of Uffizi Gallery and Accademia to see the famous David. Enjoy dinner tonight at a place of your own choosing.
Monday, October 13, 2008 ... The famous Mercato Centrale Food Market awaits us with fresh produce and tempting cheeses, olives, and fruits spread throughout this huge marketplace. Our morning tour continues with the highlights of Florence including the Duomo and the Baptistry doors. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to shop, visit more museums, or seek out the most delicious gelato in Italy! Tonight we enjoy a farewell dinner together and reminisce about our culinary adventure.
Tuesday, October 14, 2008 ... After breakfast we board our Eurostar train for Rome for our afternoon flight back home.
